When I found this beautiful Swallowtail on my land after it had died, I asked if it would like to gift it’s body to be used to make essence medicine.  When I received a yes, I placed the body of the butterfly with the mountain spring water, but not in it, in order to receive the energy without getting the butterfly wet.   I let the energy of the butterfly be charged into the water under the sunshine as well as under the moon.
